About the role

• Graphic Designer creating appealing packaging designs and marketing materials for a start-up in the food industry. Collaborating on projects from layout to final print templates while developing visual identity.

Responsibilities

• Creation and design of appealing packaging designs (various foodservice to-go packaging)
• Guiding client projects from initial layout concepts to final print-ready artwork
• Supporting the development of production-ready print files for various formats
• Designing marketing materials (e.g., newsletters, brochures, website visuals, social media graphics and videos), while maintaining the existing corporate design and evolving deinetuete's visual identity
• Creatively producing digital advertising, primarily Meta Ads

Requirements

• Native German speaker and residence on the Canary Islands — preferably Gran Canaria — is required
• Experience in graphic design, communication design or media design (through completed training, an ongoing or completed degree, or comparable qualifications)
• Confident handling of a variety of print and digital media
• Very good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• Knowledge of UI/UX design (Figma) or video & motion design (Premiere Pro and After Effects) is an advantage
• Strong communication skills and team spirit when collaborating with colleagues in design, sales and production, and with clients
• Proactive thinking and a solution-oriented approach
• Structured and independent working style, including on time-sensitive projects
• Flexibility and resilience, for example when responding to short-notice client feedback
• Creativity and a good eye for aesthetics
• Ability to implement design guidelines and openness to feedback
