About the role
- Co-own the strategy, vision, and execution of Haiilo’s mobile platforms (iOS, Android & shared Kotlin Multiplatform)
- Make high-impact architectural decisions and evolve frameworks to ensure maintainability, performance and reliability
- Mentor, coach, and empower mobile engineers across levels; foster a strong feedback culture and support career development
- Represent mobile engineering in product discovery, Shape Up planning, and company-wide technical discussions
- Champion mobile UX best practices, testing automation, and CI/CD improvements to raise quality standards
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design and Backend to align mobile initiatives with the intranet product vision and customer impact
- Act as the voice for mobile excellence across the company by sharing learnings, documentation and contributing to engineering standards
Requirements
- 6+ years in native mobile development (iOS and/or Android)
- At least 2 years in a lead/mentoring role
- Deep expertise in modern mobile architectures (MVVM / VIPER)
- Experience with frameworks: SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Multiplatform
- Strong track record of leading teams and guiding technical decisions
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product and Design
- Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken)
