About the role
- Milk Supply Planner managing daily raw milk and co-products balancing for Müller UK & Ireland. Position responsible for ensuring optimal costs in transport and dairies receiving agreed volumes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage raw milk balances by milk type at daily and weekly levels
- Provide detailed examination of historical data, investigate and understand anomalies and build into future plans
- Provide detailed communication with accurate administration of hauliers and suppliers
- Identify potential issues (such as surpluses and deficits of numerous products), identifying resolutions and reacting in a timely manner to address the issues
- Establish and maintain relationships with external suppliers and customers to support the network in achieving optimal cost saving activities
- Raise purchase and sales orders for external vendors and action invoice approvals
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Planning role, ideally in an FMCG environment, or, transport planning
- Good Excel skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Good analytical skills
- Demonstratable relationship building skills
