About the role
- Head of Supply Chain overseeing procurement and supply chain optimization for a rapidly growing beauty company. Leading a small team and implementing cost-reduction strategies.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the strategic planning, control and optimization of the entire supply chain, including S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning), purchasing, inventory planning, production planning and logistics.
- You identify and negotiate with suppliers and business partners to secure the best terms and implement savings opportunities to reduce costs.
- You lead, develop and motivate your team of 4 to 5 employees, both functionally and disciplinarily.
- You prepare and own the procurement and supply chain budget and present regular performance and financial reports to management.
- You run active risk management to secure the supply chain and minimize bottlenecks and ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
- You analyze and optimize processes to increase efficiency and transparency and implement new technologies and best practices to future-proof the supply chain.
Requirements
- You have a degree in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable field with a focus on purchasing, logistics or supply chain management.
- You have 5 to 10 years of professional experience in supply chain management and procurement.
- You have solid knowledge of ERP systems and understand end-to-end processes.
- You are proficient in German and English at least at C1 level.
- Ideally, you have experience with the Google workspace and are familiar with ASANA.
