About the role
- Develop predictive models and statistical analyses to support strategic decision-making related to information security and fraud prevention.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to structure data, validate hypotheses, and ensure model applicability.
- Conduct exploratory analyses, formulate key questions, and present results clearly and accessibly.
- Translate business rules into features and variables relevant for modeling.
- Document deliverables and contribute to promoting a data-driven culture across the organization.
- Participate in training and mentoring initiatives, supporting the technical development of other data scientists.
Requirements
- Experience with Python for data analysis and building predictive models.
- Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Pandas, Scikit-learn and Jupyter.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working collaboratively with data engineers and business analysts.
- Knowledge of information security or interest in working on fraud prevention.
- Experience with platforms such as Databricks or cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge of MLOps and the predictive model lifecycle.
- Familiarity with versioning and automation tools (e.g., Git, Airflow).
- Participation in data communities or diversity initiatives in technology.
- Experience with data visualization and analytical storytelling.
