Part-Time Medical Director ensuring high-quality clinical care at Matthew 25, a nonprofit healthcare clinic for HIV/AIDS treatment. Overseeing compliance and guiding providers in best practices.
Responsibilities
Ensuring high-quality, evidence-based clinical care across all Matthew 25 programs.
Providing guidance and mentorship to providers.
Overseeing compliance with CDC, HRSA, Ryan White, and state regulations.
Advising the Chief Executive Officer and Board on clinical matters.
Leading quality assurance and improvement efforts.
Supporting clinical documentation review.
Collaborating with community partners to advance HIV/STI prevention and care.
Engaging with providers, monitoring compliance, and strengthening care delivery during routine visits to each clinical site.
Attending programmatic and HIV/STI-specific trainings, which may require travel.
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree required.
Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Diseases (preferred)
Current, unrestricted medical license in Kentucky and Indiana
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience; prior leadership or administrative experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of clinical quality improvement principles, documentation standards, and compliance processes.
Experience working in a nonprofit organization or a strong desire to work in service driven environment.
