About the role
- Part-Time Medical Director ensuring high-quality clinical care at Matthew 25, a nonprofit healthcare clinic for HIV/AIDS treatment. Overseeing compliance and guiding providers in best practices.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring high-quality, evidence-based clinical care across all Matthew 25 programs.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to providers.
- Overseeing compliance with CDC, HRSA, Ryan White, and state regulations.
- Advising the Chief Executive Officer and Board on clinical matters.
- Leading quality assurance and improvement efforts.
- Supporting clinical documentation review.
- Collaborating with community partners to advance HIV/STI prevention and care.
- Engaging with providers, monitoring compliance, and strengthening care delivery during routine visits to each clinical site.
- Attending programmatic and HIV/STI-specific trainings, which may require travel.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree required.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Diseases (preferred)
- Current, unrestricted medical license in Kentucky and Indiana
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience; prior leadership or administrative experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of clinical quality improvement principles, documentation standards, and compliance processes.
- Experience working in a nonprofit organization or a strong desire to work in service driven environment.
