Responsibilities
Participate in the design and analysis of industrial mechanical systems (ventilation, thermal processes, fluids, etc.).
Actively collaborate with engineers from various disciplines (electrical, civil, automation/controls, structural).
Perform technical calculations in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and industrial ventilation.
Contribute to the preparation of engineering deliverables (drawings, specifications, technical reports).
Assist in resolving technical issues on site or in the workshop.
Demonstrate leadership in managing assignments, maintaining close relationships with internal and external clients.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Engineering.
1 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in an industrial environment, engineering consulting, or through relevant internships.
Solid understanding of thermodynamics, fluid flow, and industrial ventilation principles.
Proven ability to work effectively as part of multidisciplinary project teams.
Analytical mindset, initiative, and strong technical rigor.
Good communication skills and a desire to work in a role with significant human interaction.
Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (or in the process of obtaining membership).
