About the role
- Finance Master Data Manager at IVC Evidensia implementing Oracle finance system. Leading UK-based team for data management in a global transformation context.
Responsibilities
- Managing and leading the MDM team: help prioritise workload and be the main point of contact for team within the ERP project.
- Master Data Migration and Integration: Leading the planning, execution, and monitoring of Master data migration activities in parallel with the SI partner, ensuring a seamless transition from legacy systems to the new finance system. Developing and implementing data integration strategies to support interoperability between the finance system and other internal and external systems.
- Master Data Strategy, Governance and Architecture: Refining and improving a comprehensive Master data strategy for the Finance transformation programme, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
- Refining and enforcing Master data governance policies, standards, and best practices to maintain data quality and consistency across the organization.
- Master Data Quality and Validation: Implementing data quality management processes and tools to identify, assess, and remediate data quality issues.
- Developing and executing Master data validation plans to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data in the Finance system. Collaborate with business users to establish data quality metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Working with the analytics teams to help to create solutions to support data-driven decision-making.
- Providing data insights and recommendations to support continuous improvement of business processes and system performance.
Requirements
- Significant experience in data management in a mature MDM environment, with a focus on Oracle finance systems, preferably in a global transformation programme context.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining data governance
- Has an entrepreneurial approach
- Proven experience in data migration, integration, and quality management.
- Proficient in Oracle data tools
- Strong project management skills and experience in managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of Finance Data, Oracle tables and processes P2P, O2C, R2R, (AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Projects, etc)
