About the role

  • Create, execute and manage impactful marketing strategies and tactical plans for Quest face-to-face and digital conferences, including organic social and paid digital campaigns, event website messaging and development, email campaigns for speakers, registration, and event attendees, and partner marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on internal event planning to develop event positioning, communications, and customer experience; manage marketing-related deliverables within the overall event project plan
  • Serve as the lead for building and executing automated email campaigns, overseeing setup, segmentation, creative development, and performance tracking. Specific related tasks include campaign set-up, segment set-up, email builds, copy development, and campaign performance and improvement
  • Develop and manage Quest’s community-specific social presence across multiple platforms (including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.), looking for new and different ways to engage and grow the community digitally
  • Manage and execute monthly community-specific newsletters via email/web and LinkedIn, including the development of new promotional plans to incent and increase subscription
  • Serve as the marketing liaison to Oracle product teams for cross-promotion of Quest events and activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in marketing or related field) and 5-7 years related professional experience
  • Highly motivated individual with exceptional written & oral communication skills
  • Willingness to get hands-on with marketing platforms (such as email, social media, etc.) to build and monitor campaigns and identify new tools and opportunities for campaign improvements
  • Proven ability to prioritize responsibilities and multiple projects, work independently and with a team, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience with automated email platforms such as Eloqua, Constant Contact, MailChimp preferred
  • Prior experience with digital advertising platforms, including campaign set-up & management would be a plus (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software required
  • Light to moderate business travel required
