Responsibilities
Assist with the development of content for the firm’s website including Alerts, Advisories, Newsletters, blog posts, articles, and web content
Copyedit and proof external and client-facing content
Work with practice leaders to vet external content
Handle posting and distribution of content, internal and external
Contribute to overall content strategy
Assist with SEO tagging and optimization of the firm’s website
Interpret Google Analytics for improvement suggestions
Post content on the firm’s website
Assist with content updates to RFP and proposal material
Review various social media posts as needed
Work on short- and long-term projects
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
a major in journalism, public relations, English, communications, or related field preferred
J.D. preferred or experience in legal writing and/or legal journalism
4-6 years of professional experience as a legal writer or content developer with experience in both print and web content
Good problem-solving skills
High level of proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Basic HTML and the ability to quickly learn new technologies
Familiarity with legal writing
Familiarity with Google Analytics and interpreting data
