About the role

  • Manage the day-to-day operations and delivery of the RHFSP program
  • Responsible for policy and strategy recommendations
  • Develop and implement programming and operational policies and procedures
  • Support growth and deepen program impact through strategic engagement activities
  • Supervise contractors, interns and consultants
  • Recruit, train, coach, manage staff; contribute to action plans
  • Review financial management reports and initiate corrective actions
  • Manage operations ensuring user-friendly RHFSP resources
  • Lead new projects and RHFSP offerings as they arise
  • Evaluate data, track KPIs and take corrective action

Requirements

  • University degree in Education, Business/Marketing or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience
  • Minimum 5 years of project planning and/or program management experience
  • Experience recruiting and managing staff, volunteers, and committees
  • Reporting and budget management experience
  • Strong planning background and knowledge of the education or youth sector
  • Computer experience including MS Office; Salesforce experience preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience with budget creation and management
  • Not-for-profit experience is an asset
  • Understanding and sensitivity of issues relating to people with disabilities
