About the role
- Manager handling day-to-day operations of the RHFSP program at Rick Hansen Foundation. Responsible for strategy, policy implementation, and operational management in an inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations and delivery of the RHFSP program
- Responsible for policy and strategy recommendations
- Develop and implement programming and operational policies and procedures
- Support growth and deepen program impact through strategic engagement activities
- Supervise contractors, interns and consultants
- Recruit, train, coach, manage staff; contribute to action plans
- Review financial management reports and initiate corrective actions
- Manage operations ensuring user-friendly RHFSP resources
- Lead new projects and RHFSP offerings as they arise
- Evaluate data, track KPIs and take corrective action
Requirements
- University degree in Education, Business/Marketing or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 7 years of related experience
- Minimum 5 years of project planning and/or program management experience
- Experience recruiting and managing staff, volunteers, and committees
- Reporting and budget management experience
- Strong planning background and knowledge of the education or youth sector
- Computer experience including MS Office; Salesforce experience preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with budget creation and management
- Not-for-profit experience is an asset
- Understanding and sensitivity of issues relating to people with disabilities
