About the role

  • Build and maintain a cohesive tooling strategy for TWDC engineering teams
  • Gather and analyze user requirements and usage data to optimize usage patterns
  • Partner with Vendor Management Organization to align tooling with enterprise goals
  • Partner with Finance to build out & manage against comprehensive financial forecasts for tool usage
  • Right-size and streamline the portfolio of tooling to enable frictionless onboarding and improved developer experience
  • Partner with security and engineering stakeholders to develop a comprehensive tool governance strategy
  • Provide insights to executive leadership to empower informed decision making in the engineering tool space

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working with software, quality, and systems reliability engineering teams, with a minimum of 1 year in management
  • Experience working with tools across the SDLC (source code management, CI/CD, observability) tool space
  • Comprehensive understanding of DevOps best practices
  • Ability to communicate articulately and effectively across a diverse stakeholder population
  • Experience managing large and complex financial budgets
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Certifications with AWS, Azure, or GCP (Nice To Haves)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
