About the role
- Manager - Architect IT designing high-performance Full-Stack applications and collaborating with internal IT teams. Responsible for maintaining application optimization and participating in technology watch and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and deploy high-performance Java/React full-stack applications.
- Ensure software architecture quality (robustness, security, scalability, maintainability).
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure technical and functional consistency of solutions.
- Maintain and optimize application assets and associated infrastructure.
- Actively participate in writing specifications and supervising outsourced projects.
- Implement DevOps and Agile best practices, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Anticipate and resolve technical issues, ensuring system stability and security.
- Train, coach and support developers in their skills development.
- Contribute to technology watch and innovation within the IT department.
- The Manager - IT Architect will also be responsible for participating in Delta's Funds Industry Digital Club. As an operational consultant, the Manager - IT Architect will act as a subject matter expert to support colleagues when expertise is required.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years proven experience in Java full-stack architecture and development, ideally in the financial sector.
- Key technical skills:
- • Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA
- • ReactJS, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
- • Microservices, REST/SOAP, Domain-Driven Design, TDD/BDD
- • PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Elasticsearch
- • CI/CD: Jenkins, Git, Maven, SonarQube
- • Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), Swarm, RabbitMQ, Ansible
- • Application security (OWASP, secure coding)
- Preferred certifications: Cloud Architect (AWS, Azure, Google), CompTIA, etc.
- Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
- English and French required; additional languages are an asset.
