About the role
- Serve as a technical reference for complex projects at Telefónica Tech, designing end-to-end architectures and leading architectural standards.
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical and strategic reference in complex projects, designing end-to-end (E2E) architectures that support business objectives.
- Lead the definition of architectural standards, ensuring scalability, security, resilience and performance.
- Provide internal consulting to development teams and stakeholders, translating business needs into solid technical requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks and tools (PoCs), keeping the company at the forefront of innovation.
- Ensure architecture governance, making sure implementations align with the original design.
Requirements
- Solid experience as a Solutions Architect or Enterprise Architect.
- Deep expertise in Cloud Computing (Azure) with Professional/Specialty-level certifications.
- Strong knowledge of microservices patterns, APIs (RESTful/GraphQL), messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ) and event-driven architectures (EDA).
- Experience with various database models (SQL, NoSQL, NewSQL).
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, observability and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to act as a bridge between the client and developers.
- Problem-solving mindset and a consultative, long-term vision.
- Differentials:
- Knowledge of Data Architectures (Data Lake, Data Mesh) and AI/Machine Learning.
- Previous experience in large-scale technology consulting firms.
- Proficiency with architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman or others).
