About the role
- Lead team responsible for segregated fund financial reporting
- Oversee the compilation of segregated fund financial information
- Prepare fund-level semi-annual financial statements
- Manage consolidation of segregated fund financial results
- Oversee internal/external audit requests related to segregated fund reporting
- Maintain associated internal controls
- Lead team members, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management
- Coordinate and project manage outsourced activities
Requirements
- Completion of a university degree in accounting or finance
- Professional accounting designation considered a strong asset
- 3-5 years leadership experience in a segregated fund reporting or other related financial reporting environment
- Strong project management skills
- Working knowledge of IFRS and segregated fund accounting principles
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with SAP, Workiva, Alteryx, Power BI, and/or other automation tools would be considered an asset
