About the role

Responsibilities
- Responsible for building machine learning solutions that deliver real customer value
- Designing and implementing ML approaches
- Working with large, diverse datasets (recipes, ingredients, pricing, consumption)
- Building data pipelines and actively contributing to the AI architecture
- Responsible for monitoring, transparency, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, LMIV - German Food Information Regulation)
- Close collaboration with product owners, developers, and domain experts

Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or an equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience
- Experience with Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Knowledge of SQL and data preprocessing/data preparation
- German language skills at C1 level
- Practical experience deploying ML models to production
- Experience with Azure and MLOps, or an interest in the food/nutrition sector, is a plus
- Hands-on mentality with curiosity and enthusiasm for building things from scratch
