About the role
- Lead on a broad range of real estate finance transactions, including acquisition finance, development finance, refinancing, restructuring and portfolio deals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to lenders, borrowers, developers, funds and investors.
- Deliver commercially focused solutions to clients, balancing legal risk with strategic objectives.
- Drive business development initiatives, develop new client relationships, and deepen existing ones.
- Supervise, mentor and develop junior lawyers in the team.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, training, and thought leadership within the real estate finance group.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in real estate finance
- Strong technical expertise across a wide range of financing structures and transactions
- A track record of managing complex deals and delivering excellent client service
- The ability to build strong, lasting client relationships and lead on business development
- Strong leadership skills, with a collaborative and supportive approach to team development
