About the role

  • Serve as the lead attorney and provide legal advice for Compliance Solutions
  • Manage a team of business attorneys
  • Serve as the primary legal support to the Executive VP and Compliance Solutions Executive team
  • Proactively identify and solve issues impacting the direction of the business
  • Structure, draft, negotiate, interpret, manage, and enforce all types of technology and other commercial agreements
  • Keep Compliance Solutions management team and Associate General Counsel informed of significant legal matters
  • Advise on legal compliance and risk management
  • Effectively manage outside counsel in a cost-effective manner
  • Educate business teams about contracting forms and legal risks

Requirements

  • Candidates must have a law degree (J.D.)
  • Be admitted to practice law in the U.S. jurisdiction where that candidate is admitted
  • At least ten (10) or more years of progressively responsible corporate/commercial/technology law experience
  • Prior experience working in both a law firm and a corporate law department preferred
  • Prior management experience is preferred.
