About the role
- Lead Product Designer shaping UX and design systems for AirOps' AI-powered content platform. Lead end-to-end design, prototyping, research, and mentor designers.
Responsibilities
- Shape the product experience and define the visual and functional direction of the platform
- Lead the end-to-end design process for new product features: research, ideation, prototyping, user testing, and final delivery
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and set design direction
- Develop and maintain a cohesive visual language and design system across the platform
- Champion user-centric and data-informed design decisions that align with business goals
- Conduct user research and translate insights into actionable solutions
- Experiment with emerging design tools and AI-powered workflows to drive innovation and efficiency
- Mentor and inspire other designers and elevate design thinking throughout the company
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience designing digital products in high-growth, fast-paced environments
- Fluency with modern prototyping tools (e.g. Cursor, Bolt, Claude Code)
- Comfort with design/collaboration environments like Figma and Git
- Proven track record of leading zero-to-one product initiatives and scaling design systems
- Passion for using technology and design to solve challenging problems
- Hands-on designer and builder who thrives in high-velocity environments
- Ability to collaborate closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams
- Experience mentoring and inspiring other designers (and non-designers) to elevate design thinking
