About the role

  • Design, develop, and deliver high-quality Pega solutions
  • Work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and project managers to understand requirements
  • Engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather prerequisites and requirements
  • Mentor and coach junior and senior Pega developers; enforce code and design review feedback
  • Advocate and implement best practices for reusability and quality within Pega
  • Architect complex Pega solutions and develop overall technical architecture (system, data, integration)
  • Design Pega application components: rules, flows, integrations, user interfaces
  • Integrate Pega with databases and cloud services
  • Support deployments, production support activities, and post go-live knowledge transfer
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, portfolio leads, and business users to understand problem statements and requirements
  • Participate in Agile practices (sprint estimation, retrospection)
  • Provide clear technical engagement with senior customer teams
  • Support migration to Pega Constellation and use of App Studio

Requirements

  • At least 12+ years of experience in Pega development
  • Certified Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA)
  • Experience with Pega 8.0 and above
  • Experience with Smart Dispute and Smart Investigate (plus)
  • Experience in Process, Case & Interface design and development
  • Experience integrating Pega with other systems and technologies (databases, cloud services, etc.)
  • Experience with databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server
  • Knowledge of security and reporting features in Pega
  • Experience with messaging/tools: Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow
  • Experience with Pega Constellation and App Studio
  • Knowledge/migration experience to Constellation
  • Experience in Agile projects (sprint estimation, retrospection)
  • Leadership and mentorship experience (leading and mentoring teams)
  • Experience in deployment, production support, and post go-live support
  • Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to drive architecture: system, data, and integration architectures
  • Ability to articulate and engage with senior technology/management stakeholders
  • Analytical ability and learnability in new domains
  • Ability to create complex, large-scale solutions
  • Must have leadership skills
  • Effective communication across onsite and offshore teams
  • Adaptability and visionary thinking
