About the role

• Teamcenter PLM Engineer responsible for utilizing manufacturing applications in Teamcenter and supporting Siemens NX CAM processes. Contribute to resource library maintenance and user training at GE Aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Learn current GE Aerospace manufacturing resource library structure in Teamcenter and its use in NX CAM (machines, tools, devices, etc.)
• Address requests from end users and developers
• Maintain the resource library, run tests at Siemens and GE Aerospace driven updates & deployments, for Teamcenter and NX CAM
• Come with development ideas and solutions to current structure
• Provide support for Siemens MRL structure activities
• Participate in maintaining and creating standards, user instructions
• Train and create training documents for users and new hires

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical or manufacturing engineering from an accredited university
• Siemens Teamcenter PLM user and/or developer skills in manufacturing apps like Classification, Resource Manager, Classification admin
• Being able to create CAM operations using Siemens NX CAM and library structure
• Good level of written and oral communication skills in English
• Experience in customizing / configuring Teamcenter (preferred)
• Experience in other Teamcenter apps, Part Planner, Mfg Process Planner, Mfg. Work Instructions, etc. (preferred)
• Experience in NX CAM and NX Machine Tool Simulation (preferred)
• Experience in customizing / configuring NX CAM resource libraries (preferred)
• Experience in Tcl language (preferred)
• Experience or awareness of working with Lean principles (preferred)
