About the role

• Lead Engineer in Operations optimizing tools and processes within global CSE for GE Vernova. Responsible for managing key metrics and operational excellence initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Drive activities to operationalize and continuously improve tools, processes, standard work and data driven insights in support of global CSE workstreams
• Manage key process indicators or metrics to ensure efficient and effective operations of the team
• Support operating rhythms and tracking of metrics to identify improvement opportunities and implement resulting action plans
• Collect data that is used for decision making
• Lead Lean activities to drive continuous improvement related to quality, culture, and sustainable productivity
• Support annual operational planning activity
• Manage functional cost in line with business operating plan for labor, shop work & lab, and general operating costs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Engineering Operations or a business related discipline)
• 3 years industry-related experience
• Demonstrates the GE Vernova Way principles
• Collaborative with capability to drive change in a globally matrixed organization
• Problem analysis and resolution skills
• Data-driven yet decisive despite ambiguity
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
• Established project management skills
• Self-directed with the ability to prioritize & manage multiple parallel projects through delivery
• Knowledge of LEAN techniques
• Clear, concise written and oral communications to the appropriate level
