About the role

  • Key Account Manager responsible for client relationship management within large Banks. Driving growth and tailored financial solutions for Nexi Group's new product launch in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with high-value clients.
  • Serve as the trusted advisor, understanding client business models, financial needs, and strategic goals.
  • Ensure consistent and proactive communication across all touchpoints.
  • Create and execute account plans to drive revenue growth and client retention.
  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across banking products.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and product teams to deliver customized solutions.
  • Liaise with internal departments (Marketing, Product, Risk, Compliance, Legal) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to support complex client needs and transactions.
  • Monitor account performance, client satisfaction, and service delivery metrics.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Track market trends and competitor activity to inform client strategy.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Support onboarding of new strategic clients and ensure smooth integration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in account management, relationship banking, or corporate finance
  • Proven track record of managing high-value client relationships in financial services
  • Strong understanding of banking products and regulatory environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial data and market insights
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Native German Speaker
