About the role

  • Design audio assets using an industry standard DAW (Pro Tools, Reaper, Logic X etc.)
  • Contribute to all aspects of sound design and implementation.
  • Work closely with the Audio Lead during the process of technical implementation into the game engine.
  • Efficiently action feedback from department Leads or clients to suit project scope and timelines.
  • Handle asset management tasks and assist in documentation where needed.
  • Ensure quality of asset output by playtesting and gathering daily feedback on designed content from your team and discipline.
  • Design exceptional audio content to create fun and engaging player experiences.
  • Collaborate with teams across the globe and improve skills under mentorship of senior staff.
  • Work on a variety of projects for AAA PC and console titles.

Requirements

  • Experience in audio editing, processing and mixing.
  • Intermediate knowledge and experience with one or more current DAWs (Pro Tools / Logic Pro X / Reaper) and software/plugins (iZotope, Waves, Kontakt etc)
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and quickly adapt to/manage competing priorities.
  • Experience working with Audiokinetic Wwise.
  • Experience working with the Unreal Engine 5.
  • Strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to get the job done under your own initiative.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • A good work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • A Quality demo reel/portfolio.
  • Only applications with a Sound Design Demo Reel with no music will be considered for this role.
  • Understanding of the game development process (desirable).
  • Experience with studio recording, field recording, sound libraries and synthesis (desirable).
  • Knowledge about Unreal Engine Blueprints (desirable).
  • A passion for all things gaming (desirable).
