About the role
- Junior QA Engineer testing and validating web-based applications for Orion Innovation's partners. Collaborating with teams to ensure high-quality solutions in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Test and validate new features equipment Web based application.
- Run performance tests.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Work together with internal teams (developers, product managers, DevOps, Support).
- Investigate the escalated issues from customers.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Attend SCRUM ceremonies.
- Stay up to date with testing tools.
- Write and execute automated tests.
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- At least 1 year of experience in manual/automation testing.
- Previous experience on QA testing methodologies and debugging.
- Strong knowledge about web application testing and APIs.
- Basic Linux OS administration.
- Database experience – MySQL.
- A practiced eye for pixel misalignments, margin errors, and other visual details.
- Passionate about testing.
- Team player.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing – strong advantage.
- Experience with automated testing tools – strong advantage.
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience with Jenkins.
