About the role
- Junior Financial Analyst role at EveryPay focusing on financial forecasting, analysis, and reporting. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and compliance efforts.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts
- Maintain rolling forecasts to reflect changing market conditions and business needs
- Support to variance analysis between actual performance and forecasts, providing clear explanations
- Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for business performance improvement
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost trends, and operational metrics
- Provide ad hoc analysis to support strategic projects, initiatives, and business cases
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management, presenting key insights and business drivers
- Assist on the generation of management reports, including KPIs, cash flow analysis, and P&L statements
- Assist on automation and streamline of reporting processes to improve efficiency
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and support financial decision-making
- Act as a business partner to department heads, offering insights to optimize their budgets and drive performance
- Ensure financial reports comply with relevant regulations and company policies
- Assist in the identification of financial risks and suggest mitigation strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- At least 3 years experience in similar position
- Understanding of accounting principles
- Knowledge of ERP software (especially Epsilon Pylon)
- MS Office literacy (Vlookup, Pivot, etc.)
- Fluency in English language, both written and spoken
- Organization skills, analytical thinking, multitasking, attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative and ownership of tasks and projects
