About the role
- Controllership Analyst handling financial reports and analysis for a tech company. Contributing to decision-making and monthly closures in a global team setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and consolidate detailed financial reports, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of presented data;
- Perform financial variance analyses, foreign exchange and results variance between periods, taking into account business specifics and seasonality to support decision-making;
- Monitor all P&L line items in detail, identifying variances and relevant insights;
- Actively participate in the monthly close process and in preparing the annual Budget and monthly Forecast;
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements within the area, promoting integration with other teams for automation and productivity gains;
- Analyze and prepare financial KPIs;
- Structure and participate in PDCA processes;
- Support requests from Investor Relations, Internal Controls and internal and external audits;
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and the adoption of best practices within the team and across teams, and disseminate business rules through clear communication of CI&T guidelines.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience with full P&L and variance analyses;
- Experience in analysis, planning and control covering the full P&L;
- Experience with Monthly Close, Forecast and Budget processes;
- Experience with reporting and income statement preparation;
- Experience with monthly accounting close and preparation of detailed financial reports;
- Experience with data analysis tools (preferably Power BI);
- Experience working in a global environment (foreign entities);
- Advanced/Fluent spoken English;
- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related fields;
