About the role
- Junior Business Analyst supporting business decisions through financial performance analysis and actionable insights. Collaborating with teams to enhance customer understanding and profitability metrics.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of monthly reports and performance analysis (P&L, cash flow, margins).
- Clean, organize and validate data from multiple internal sources.
- Build dashboards and reports in Google Sheets, Excel, Looker Studio (or similar).
- Conduct customer cohort analyses and monitor CLV/LTV to understand retention and purchasing behavior.
- Analyze product and channel profitability, highlighting margin improvement opportunities.
- Segment data across acquisition channels, product clusters, and customer typologies to inform pricing, promotions, and trade marketing.
- Contribute to internal and investor reporting materials, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, retail, and product teams to support business decisions.
- Experiment with AI tools to automate and speed up repetitive tasks (data cleaning, reporting, first-draft analysis).
Requirements
- Fluent Italian and English (both speaking and writing)
- Degree in Economics, Statistics, Management Engineering or related field
- ~1 year of experience in a similar role
- Strong with numbers and spreadsheets; familiarity with financial logic (margins, P&L, cash flow)
- Curious, tech-savvy, hands-on, eager to learn new tools
- Able to connect data to business decisions, not just crunch numbers
- Detail-oriented, proactive, comfortable with fast turnarounds
- Bonus: knowledge of SQL, Google BigQuery, or data visualization tools
