About the role

  • Responsible for ongoing bookkeeping and active participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB, and prospectively also under IFRS
  • Management of incoming and outgoing invoices
  • Monitoring incoming payments and outstanding receivables
  • Preparation of meaningful financial reports and analyses
  • Support in preparing forecasts and budgets
  • Ensuring smooth processes during internal and external audits

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training or a degree in economics/business administration
  • At least two years of professional experience in accounting and bookkeeping according to HGB; ideally you have already gained initial experience with IFRS
  • Confident use of ERP systems such as DATEV (or comparable systems) and MS Office, especially Excel
  • Analytical thinking, a structured way of working and a high degree of accuracy
  • Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
