About the role
- Java Software Developer at softgate enhancing document management systems in a team environment. Collaborating with product managers to implement features and improve the DMS based on customer needs.

- You will work in a team of 4 developers
- You will work closely with product management and Solution Consultants
- Continuous development and modernization of our DMS
- Close cooperation with product management and Solution Consultants to implement new features according to customer requirements and strategic planning
- Knowledge sharing and mentoring/support of less experienced colleagues
- Senior/Lead developers will have direct customer contact
- Participation in hiring future team members
Requirements
- Solid expertise and experience with Java EE 8–17 and Apache Tomcat
- Experience with HTML/CSS, React/Vue/Angular, Azure DevOps (MS DevOps), Git, Maven, MS SQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL
- Experience with Windows Server, AD/LDAP, Linux, database administration, SAP, quality management (ISO 9001), QA/testing and/or customer support is a plus
- You enjoy working independently and are a team player
- Very good knowledge of German (min. C1 level) and good knowledge of English
