Responsibilities
- Responsible for building and operating our Linux systems, which form the backbone of our software solution
- Ensure and continuously optimize network and security infrastructures
- Plan and monitor complex, heterogeneous IP networks to ensure stable and efficient communication
- Assess challenges in heterogeneous system landscapes and develop tailored log management solutions
- Automate system operations and evaluate innovative cloud-based infrastructure solutions
- Improve and implement operational processes according to ITIL standards, actively contributing new ideas
- Use tools and technologies such as GitLab, CheckMK, Jenkins, Puppet, Nexus, Bacula, and Apache efficiently to optimize our systems
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist in application development or system integration, an IT degree, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience as a Linux administrator, ideally with Red Hat Enterprise products
- Extensive experience with log management and the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Beats, Logstash) and the ability to implement concrete solutions in this environment
- Proficiency in Bash and at least one scripting language such as Python, Perl, or SQL
- Experience in software architecture, data modeling, databases, and object-oriented analysis, design, and implementation in IT systems
- Analytical, solution-oriented team player with a strong quality focus and enjoyment in supporting colleagues
- High self-motivation to continuously develop and acquire new skills
