About the role
- IT Architect specializing in automation solutions for public sector transformation project. Leading the development of Automation Competence Center with modern tools integration.
Responsibilities
- Design and establish the organizational and technical architecture of the Automation Competence Center
- Define roles, processes, and target models in the automation domain
- Develop a collaboration model with internal and external service units
- Select, integrate, and further develop automation platforms (e.g., Ansible, UIPath, PEGA)
- Responsible for change and release management of the automation systems
- Manage interdisciplinary teams (IT, engineering, operations, maintenance)
- Advise stakeholders on economic viability, product benefits, and scaling potential
- Collaborate with external service providers and partner organizations
Requirements
- Degree in (business) computer science, engineering, or a comparable qualification
- At least 10 years of experience in interdisciplinary IT or engineering teams
- Proven experience coordinating complex projects with common automation solutions (Ansible, UIPath, PEGA)
- Experience with change and release management processes
- Practical experience collaborating with external vendors, service providers, and customers
- Certifications are advantageous: Professional Scrum Master / Product Owner, IPMA Level D or equivalent
- Language skills: fluent German and English, spoken and written
