About the role

  • Internal Auditor Specialist managing compliance and risk assessments. Collaborating daily with financial market experts to support risk management efforts at ABC Brasil.

Responsibilities

  • The Internal Audit Specialist is primarily responsible (among other activities) for preparing risk-based planning, executing, and reporting Internal Audit engagements.
  • The main objective is to support Internal Audit activities by providing Senior Management and the Board of Directors with an independent and objective assessment of the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Educational background:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in quantitative fields such as Financial Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or any related discipline.
  • Preferred:
  • Professional certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager), PRM (Professional Risk Manager) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), and certification in Internal Audit.
  • Language: professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
