About the role
- Intern in Platform & Security Operations at Engel & Völkers assisting with Cloud Architecture and security solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and implementing scalable, secure cloud architectures using Infrastructure as Code
- Conduct security audits (including penetration testing) and implement subsequent security solutions to strengthen the protection of our cloud infrastructure
- Monitor performance of cloud systems and propose continuous improvements
- Participate in incident resolution and cost-optimization efforts, including collaborating with engineering teams to optimize application resource usage
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (or similar)
- Strong interest in cybersecurity challenges and DevSecOps activities
- Self-driven, with the ability to develop and manage tools to address potential cybersecurity threats
- Good communication skills in English
