About the role
- Intern supporting strategic finance with financial modeling and scenario analyses at Insulet Corporation, a medical device company simplifying diabetic life.
Responsibilities
- Support Strategic Finance in developing revenue models, scenario analyses, and industry benchmarks for the annual Strategic Plan.
- Contribute to three-statement financial modeling (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and internal valuation models as part of the Strategic Planning process.
- Perform quality control checks on existing models to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify and implement enhancements to existing financial models.
- Assist in creating presentation materials (e.g., ThinkCell-driven slide decks) to effectively communicate insights through compelling visuals and dashboards.
- Execute ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (current Junior) in finance, accounting, business administration, and/or related field
- Experience in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- A self-starter who is motivated to gain meaningful experience in strategic finance and someone who can self-review one’s work and implement constructive feedback.
- Preferred: Experience in financial modeling, complex Excel formulas, and ThinkCell-based data visualizations.
