About the role

  • Junior Infrastructure Engineer ensuring modern energy transition battery systems are secure and efficient. Involves maintaining networks, IT-security, and contributing to process improvements in a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • You manage infrastructure components such as switches, firewalls and networks — from planning through commissioning
  • You analyze existing plant structures and develop standards and improvements from them
  • You install, configure and integrate hardware and software solutions into the existing infrastructure
  • You perform regular maintenance, updates, backups and security patches
  • You contribute to redundancy and security concepts and implement them
  • You carry out functional tests and document your work in a traceable manner

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT specialist), IT systems electronics or a degree in a related IT field
  • Good knowledge of Linux administration and IT hardware
  • Experience with network technology (routing, firewalls, protocols)
  • Ideally, initial experience with industrial/commercial infrastructures
  • Structured, solution-oriented working style and strong team spirit
  • Basic knowledge of Bash or PowerShell — or willingness to learn them
