About the role

Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver scalable, secure infrastructure solutions on both on-prem and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Lead the deployment of technologies to improve system posture and efficiency
- Implement best practices for OSs, virtualization, databases, networking, firewalls, and containerization (e.g., Kubernetes/OpenShift)
- Administer application servers (IIS, JBoss, WebLogic, Apache/Tomcat) and design multi-tier architectures
- Ensure infrastructure aligns with security and SLA standards
- Handle domain services, RDBMS connectivity (SQL, Oracle, MySQL), and hypervisors (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Contribute to project coordination and technical leadership for cross-functional teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
- 3–10 years of relevant experience, ideally in banking or consulting environments
- Strong experience in infrastructure architecture across both on-premises and cloud platforms
- Deep understanding of OS technologies (Windows Server 2003–2016+), virtualization (VMWare/Hyper-V), networking (routing, load balancing, firewalls), RDBMs (SQL, Oracle, MySQL), and domain services
- Experience with application servers (IIS, JBoss, WebLogic, Apache/Tomcat) and 2-tier/3-tier architecture
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerization (Docker), and orchestration platforms
- Good knowledge of scripting (Python, Perl, Go) and API integrations (JavaScript, REST)
- Experience working with ticketing systems such as Jira
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
- Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills
