About the role
- Infrastructure Architect overseeing cloud and on-premise infrastructure at HALO. Driving innovation and optimizing technology solutions for brand engagement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-cloud strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Develop and enforce infrastructure strategy and standards
- Ensure administrative and technical compliance to infrastructure and security standards and policies
- Provide strategic direction for the adoption of emerging cloud technologies to enhance business operations
- Stay up to date with new technologies and best practices, to assure operational reliability, productivity, scalability, and security compliance
- Collaborate with other architects and engineers to provide fast, reliable, and scalable solutions
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team
- Mentor and guide staff, where needed, on best practices
- Architect, design, and implement scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions
- Ensure the efficient utilization of cloud resources and optimize costs
- Monitor and report on cloud infrastructure availability, reliability, fault tolerance
- Develop service agreements and performance metrics for cloud IT services
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and service improvements through the effective management of services, solutions, technologies, and vendors
- Consolidate technologies, centralize technology management, and simplify infrastructure architecture
- Implement and enforce security best practices for cloud environments
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Enforce compliance with ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI DSS
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue identification and resolution
- Continuously optimize and fine-tune cloud infrastructure for optimal performance
- Collaborate with cloud service providers and manage vendor relationships
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance cloud capabilities
- Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Conduct regular drills and assessments to ensure preparedness
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all cloud infrastructure components
- Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions for team members
Requirements
- At least 10 years of hands-on technical experience with infrastructure design, development, engineering and support
- At least 7 years developing cloud infrastructure architecture within Azure and AWS
- Experience with Good Engineering Practices (GxP) (desired)
- Experience working in software engineering industry (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field (preferred)
- Exceptional collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficient in presenting to a variety of stakeholders
- Strong writing, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- High technical aptitude and a strong commitment to staying informed of current trends.
