About the role
- IAM Consultant leading client engagements and implementing Okta Identity Cloud solutions in Netherlands. Bridging technical delivery and business strategy while advising on IAM.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and deploy IAM solutions using Okta (Customer & Workforce Identity Cloud)
- Advise clients on IAM strategy, aligning Okta capabilities with business goals
- Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
- Manage agile delivery processes and ticketing workflows
- Conduct IAM maturity assessments and develop improvement plans
- Deliver client training and workshops
- Define IAM policies and standards to support compliance and security
- Integrate Okta with third-party IdPs, enterprise apps, and customer portals (B2B/B2C)
Requirements
- 3+ years implementing IAM solutions
- Hands-on Okta experience
- Proficient in Okta features: SSO, Adaptive MFA, API Access Management, Lifecycle Management, Universal Directory
- Skilled in authentication protocols (OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML)
- Experience with Okta Identity Engine, Hooks, Workflows, SCIM provisioning, and automation via API or Terraform
- Familiarity with other IAM tools (e.g., SailPoint, CyberArk, Workato) is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and agile delivery experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Fluent in Dutch and based in the Netherlands
- Certifications Okta Certified Professional and Consultant required. Additional certifications (Architect, Developer) are a plus.
