About the role

  • PMO Consultant managing governance frameworks and coordination across SAP programs including S/4HANA and SAP Cloud. Drive program planning and track delivery for innovative software solutions in financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage PMO governance frameworks across SAP programs (S/4HANA, SAP Cloud, SAP Fioneer, etc.)
  • Drive program planning, prioritization, and coordination across multiple SAP projects
  • Track project milestones, timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure on-time delivery
  • Develop and maintain program dashboards, status reports, and executive updates
  • Monitor and track PMO metrics (delivery timelines, budget adherence, resource utilization)
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors across geographies
  • Identify risks/issues proactively and drive mitigation and escalation mechanisms
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking of SAP programs
  • Ensure adherence to SAP methodologies (Activate, Agile, Waterfall) and governance standards
  • Drive continuous improvement in PMO processes, tools, and reporting frameworks

Requirements

  • Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
  • 4 to 10 years of relevant experience in PMO / Program Management, preferably in SAP environments
  • Proven experience managing PMO activities in large-scale SAP programs (S/4HANA, ECC, or SAP Cloud)
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • Experience in stakeholder management across global teams
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams
  • High ownership, attention to detail, and governance mindset
  • Exposure to financial services or banking domain is an added advantage
  • Hands-on experience with project management and PMO tools (MS Project, JIRA, SAP Solution Manager, Clarity, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and SAP implementation lifecycle
  • Experience in financial tracking, budgeting, and resource planning tools
  • Exposure to reporting and dashboard tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Agile tools like JIRA and collaboration tools like Confluence
  • Understanding of SAP modules or SAP ecosystem is an advantage
  • Certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum are a plus
