About the role

  • Design an evolutionary exploration method guided by a language model (LLM)
  • Use the LLM as a semantic variation operator (crossover, mutation)
  • Automatically generate adversarial and diverse instances
  • Test and train robust optimization methods within a rich, exploratory framework

Requirements

  • Master's student (M2), engineering school or equivalent training
  • Knowledge of: Python programming
  • Knowledge of optimization (metaheuristics)
  • Familiarity with generative AI (LLMs, prompt engineering)
  • Interest in exploratory and interdisciplinary approaches
  • English (B2–C1 level expected)
  • Rigor, autonomy and team spirit
