Responsibilities
Responsible for modeling the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation
Provide Hospice Director of Clinical Services functions intermittently in assigned programs
Travel extensively working in different locations as needed
Direct and manage the interdisciplinary team (IDT) in meeting the needs of the hospice patient and family
Supervise up to 20 team members; responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, and appraising performance
Attend/Lead Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings, ensuring patient care needs are identified and documented timely
Manage all members of the IDT including aspects of scheduling, productivity, mentoring, time keeping, and performance reviews
Requirements
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
Minimum of three (3) years in healthcare required, preferably in a nursing facility, home health or hospice setting
Experience in leadership or management strongly preferred
Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems a strong plus
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in state(s) of employment, in addition to every state in the Region this role will be covering required
