About the role
- Group Financial Accountant responsible for managing UK and global accounting processes at OPM. Supporting international offices and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting with effective control frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Manage consolidation and UK entity accounting
- Support and review accounting within global offices
- Ensure OPM’s ledgers accurately reflect the company’s financial activity
- Strengthen standard reporting and control frameworks across global offices
- Ensure all balance sheets are reconciled
- Maintain UK banking and manage tax issues
- Lead group audit process and support local office audits
- Provide day to day line management of the A/P and A/R team
Requirements
- Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with significant post qualification experience
- Proven corporate accounting experience
- Experience managing the consolidation process
- Experience in an international environment with multiple currencies
- Experience of people management and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent numeracy and IT skills (especially Excel)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to use initiative productively
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience of MS Dynamics is advantageous
