About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, cross-browser compatible slot and casino games using PixiJS, PhaserJS, and HTML Canvas
- Implement smooth, polished, and engaging web animations and transitions to enhance the player experience
- Collaborate with Game Designers, Artists, and Backend Developers to bring game concepts from wireframe to live deployment
- Write clean, modular, well-documented, and efficient code
- Optimize games for maximum speed, scalability, and memory efficiency across desktop and mobile devices
- Integrate with game server APIs for features such as user authentication, leaderboards, and in-game transactions
- Debug, test, and fix issues throughout the development lifecycle
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web game development.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in game development
- Proven, hands-on experience with PixiJS and/or PhaserJS is essential
- Strong expertise in HTML5 Canvas and advanced Web Animations
- A demonstrable portfolio of released slot or casino games is required
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
- Experience with responsive design and optimizing games for various screen sizes and mobile touch controls
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
