Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of front-end developers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the delivery of high-quality web applications.
- Oversee the development and implementation of user interfaces, ensuring alignment with project goals and user experience standards.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and visual designs into functional and responsive front-end components.
- Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices within the team, enhancing overall code quality and efficiency.
- Facilitate code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to foster growth and improvement.
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that deadlines are met while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development and integrate relevant practices into team workflows.
- Actively participate in Agile development methodologies, leading sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and achieve project milestones effectively.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new front-end developers, ensuring a smooth integration into the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in front-end development, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Extensive experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Demonstrated success in mentoring and leading a team of developers to achieve project goals.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
