About the role
- Support a major Australian bank in delivering a scalable platform to identify potential risks and opportunities from a changing climate
- Build scalable and intuitive user interfaces for the climate risk insights platform
- Develop responsive front-end applications for data visualization and geospatial insights
- Implement modular micro frontends to ensure scalability
- Collaborate with back-end and data teams to integrate APIs and climate modelling outputs
- Ensure accessibility, performance, and compliance with bank standards
- Initial engagement 9 to 12 months with a view to extend
Requirements
- Micro-Frontend Architecture using React (with Redux)
- 8–11 years in enterprise-grade front-end development
- Develop responsive front-end applications for data visualization and geospatial insights
- Integrate APIs and climate modelling outputs and collaborate with back-end and data teams
- Ensure accessibility, performance optimization, and compliance with bank standards
- Experience implementing modular micro frontends to ensure scalability
- Experience with geospatial capabilities and climate risk/ESG related projects (preferred)
