About the role
- Deliver defined and non-specific tasks to support safe and efficient operations.
- Provide maintenance service that delivers to client contractual requirements.
- Carry out day-to-day DIY/maintenance and minor repairs (furniture fixtures, wall repairs).
- Daily responsibility to check that all doors and windows are locked when the building is not in use.
- Report any concerns or issues to your People Manager immediately for action (e.g., broken equipment).
- Carry out any other reasonable requests as directed by People Manager.
Requirements
- Permanent Reactive Caretaker/Janitor to cover Barnsley Schools account.
- UK driving licence and own vehicle.
- Undertake the role in a professional and safe manner following Amey’s Zero Code Policies and Procedures.
- Comply with Internal and External HSEQ requirements RAMs and COSHH.
- Operate machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided.
