About the role

  • Support a team of Account Managers in their business development and management responsibilities.
  • Work closely with the firm's most seasoned sales client coverage professionals and partner with legal, marketing, and strategy teams.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and analyses to support external client interactions and strategic discussions.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the client segment.
  • Prepare and maintain client relationship overviews and account summaries.
  • Support the management of sales pipeline and contracting processes with the Transaction Management team.
  • Maintain and update CCO databases and tracking systems for accurate record-keeping and reporting.
  • Assist in the coordination of team projects and initiatives.
  • Create and maintain current org charts for each strategic account, including key stakeholders and sales specialists.
  • Partner with Marketing and Divisional teams to support brand and sales efforts.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field
  • 2+ years’ work experience, preferably in financial markets or with an information company
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Self-starter and creative skills
  • Flexibility and proactiveness to fulfil and drive ad-hoc team or client initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Hybrid work: 3 days a week work from S&P Global office
  • Preferred: French, Italian or Spanish language professional working proficiency
  • Preferred: GenAI tools usage experience
  • Preferred: Experience with Salesforce, PowerBI
  • Preferred: Previous experience in a financial services, financial institution or professional services role
