About the role
- Finanzcontroller overseeing reporting, analysis, and planning for the leading omnichannel jeweler CHRIST. Collaborating with teams on P&L analysis, budgeting, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Support and responsibility for reporting to management, the corporate group and business units on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Comprehensive analysis and commentary on the P&L on a monthly and annual basis, including identifying variances and deriving recommended actions
- Participation in planning and responsibility for the reporting and planning system (TM1)
- Collaboration with Accounting to analyze causes of variances and to provide well-founded interpretation of the financial data
- Cash flow planning and monitoring, as well as forecasting and budgeting
- Handling topics related to the monthly and annual financial close and group reporting
- Optimizing existing processes and continuously improving reports and systems
Requirements
- Degree in business administration with a focus on controlling/finance or an equivalent qualification
- Professional experience in controlling, preferably in multi-branch retail
- Strong understanding of complex business contexts, analytical mindset, and an independent, meticulous working style
- Confident user of MS Office and common controlling and ERP tools (e.g., TM1 and SAP FI/CO)
- Team-oriented working style, strong communication skills and a pronounced service orientation
- Good command of English
