Responsibilities
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and People teams to manage budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models for materials, freight, fulfillment, and manufacturing costs, tracking COGS, landed cost, and gross margin performance.
- Own headcount and personnel-related forecasting for assigned departments, partnering with People Operations to model hiring plans, compensation impacts, and workforce cost trends.
- Manage and analyze departmental variable spend, including consulting, professional services, travel, and other operating expenses; provide variance analysis and identify optimization opportunities.
- Support financial reviews and business cases for vendor contracts, consulting engagements, and strategic operational initiatives.
- Partner with Procurement to monitor supplier spend, evaluate pricing trends, and identify cost savings across the supply chain.
- Collaborate with the Logistics and Operations teams to model inventory flow, ensuring efficient use of working capital and accurate demand forecasting.
- Lead monthly and quarterly variance analysis, comparing actuals to forecast and budget; synthesize findings into actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Prepare reporting packages and dashboards that highlight operational KPIs and cost drivers, improving visibility across Finance and Operations.
- Support monthly close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries for COGS, inventory, and operating expenses.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A, operations finance, supply chain finance, or a related analytical function.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong analytical and modeling skills; expert in Excel/Google Sheets and comfortable managing large data sets.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to connect financial outcomes to operational drivers.
- Strong communicator who can distill complex analyses into clear insights for business partners at all levels.
- Experience working cross-functionally in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) preferred.
- Experience with SQL or Python for data analysis is a plus.
